Software Working Preview

Stepwise product guide to be followed for carrying out process successfully. Follow the steps accordingly to proceed further:

  1. Start Menu » Programs » Revove VMware Recovery Tool » Revove VMware Recovery Tool



  2. Click Scan option to start the loading of VMware file



  3. If you know the location of virtual machine then browse it from the system.



  4. Select the folder containing the file and then click on OK.



  5. The Click on Scan Button



  6. When the software completes the scanning process then report generated . Click Save to save the report in CSV file format.



  7. Give a name to save the report and then click on Save.



  8. A pop-up open up confirming the successful save of scan report. Click OK.



  9. You can perform search on specific drive or on all drives of the system.



  10. The software automatically list the virtual machine after search option.



  11. In case of specific drive select the drive in which the data are required to extract:



  12. After selecting the required option and click scan button.



  13. A message pop-up confirms the scanning of VMDK file. Click OK.



  14. Preview the data after loading it into the software panel itself.



  15. Search specific file from VMDK.

    Software provides multiple attributes to search file such as extension, created date, modified date & apply the date filter as well.



  16. Following Search result comes after applying search filter.



  17. Extract & Save Data Now click on Extract or Export As Original button in order to save the selected folder at desired location: You can select Export As Original for exporting it in the previous drive.



  18. After completion of Extraction Process, the export report generated. You can view its extraction details by clicking the link.



  19. View the complete Extraction Report, click Save to store it in CSV format:



  20. Type the user friendly name to save the report. Click Save:



  21. A notification message pop up after saving of Export Report. Click OK:
